Considering that jews vote for Republicans at about the same percentage as blacks do, why are the Republicans speaking that this meeting. All of the Jewish Republicans can probably hold their meeting in a booth at the Rock Creek Deli.
That was pretty funny, SD! But don’t you think the Pubs need to start reaching out to some other groups besides the white Christian heterosexual middle-aged male? Thats the only demographic that still reliably votes Republican.

Holly,
There are just very few of them. The Jewish vote is even more loyal to the Democratic Party than homosexuals or Hispanics.
Krit, Have you ever been to the Rock Creek Deli? It is the only Jewish Deli in DC that I could quickly think and have actually been inside (and yes, I realize that it is actually one block outside of DC in Silver Spring).
Hello SD! In the last two presidential elections, the GOP candidate (GWB) received around 20 percent of the Jewish vote.

Whether it’s in this forum or another, most of the Rep. candidates seem to be in competition as to who will attack Iran first.
Though I don’t pass judgment on whether that may become necessary, making war into a preferred option is one reason why I can vote for nonte of them.
SD-No, I’ve been to Rock Creek park though. My husband is a Jewish ex-New Yorker, so he’d probably like it if it is any good.
We’ve been to Pumpernickel’s- a Jewish deli in Olney- but it takes all day to get there from Anne Arundel! Ever been to Pumpernickel’s??? They feed you hot samples in line and have a great bakery.
Yes SD, there are Jewish Republicans and there are also Jewish Democrats who vote for Republican candidates.
Holly- We have that affliction in my family. My brother-in-law is a big Bill’o fan and voted for Bush twice. We still haven’t forgiven him!
