Given the tone of American politics, why would you expect anything different than this these days?

That there should be some sour grapes exhibited comes as no surpriese. But the dgree and amount of spoilportism just takes one’s breath away.
Anericans have become an ugly and self-destructive bunch. If God turned out to be a Democrat, some would go running straight to hell. And vice-versa.
The thing is even if a Democrat wins the WH, they will have to overcome at least some of this to be able to run the country. Isn’t putting partisanship ahead of country and constitution the real legacy of the Bush years?
