    I think Washington has been too busy escalating tensions with Iran by passing useless resolutons making use of the ‘terrorist’ designation. That backfired nicely, BTW.

    I’m glad there has been no ‘axis of eveil’ talk in re Burms, but a clear speech by the President on the subject would be welcome, if only to express concern about the fate of the victims It would
    emphasize that we’re all watching!

    Congress. likewise, could put their concersns on the record (and in international news), but no one seems interested, unless there are nice, juicy prospects for war inbolved. Where is lerberman now?

    I’m very disappointed, to say the least, and can only hope that some behind the scenes activity is happening.
