I believe I know what you might be thinking and sensing Lynx … In our time, there’s a form of agony that has become chronic for anyone who looks deeply at the world … and doesn’t look away.

But, this is just my life thought; we have to proceed as though it will only take one more small act to turn the ship hard in mid-sea. I dont think we can know precisely what and which one act or word or art or thought or event will contribute the last ounce needed for enough torque to force the turn. I just know you and a whole gaggle of thoughtful souls I’ve known, and those I’ve had the privledge to touch words with here at TMV …we’ll keep going, each in our own ways, together.

And Domajot and Lynx, I understand. Also, many priests and nuns also in Catholic church taken to convents and semnaries long before age of majority. As you say poignantly, an issue for another time.

Though they will never read this, I must say that I stand in awe of people who brave the bullets for their ideals.

ps: doma, I too dislike the idea of child monks, though Buddhism is not high on my list of harmful religions, but as you say, it’s a conversation for another time.

At the risk of introducing a discordant note, I’m not that easy with the notion of child monks. That’s a subject for another, calmer time. though.
