it was moving. Aside from the ‘Colo congressional’ delegation with him who we never see or hear from except asking for money, and the new archbishop who didnt have the decency to dress in black without his HUGE crimson sash across his belly and hitting the floor and his red beanie so that of all the mourners, he stood out the most… other than certain posturing by the usual politicos, it was good.

The President told the story of two friends, one saving the other’s life when one was shot in the throat and started splurting blood and her friend dragged her out of the aisle, held pressure, she and several others then drag-carried the wounded girl across to parking lots to where the ambulances were staged (couldnt immediately get close to building until secured)

Also it appears the ghoul fred phelps and his thugs did not make it for some reason, including OTHER christians and highschool students and other groups who vowed to make an iron wall around the memorial service. It may have been that Obama was there that actually kept old redtail away … cant imagine prez security allowing phelps entry.

The president spoke as a father and husband. He was on the money, and it meant a lot to many that he came, and sat with and also praised Chief of Police, all local, state and federal law officers and the mayor of Aurora.

    Thanks for posting this….

Dr.E…F P’s group said they would be picketing Sage Stallone’s funeral which was on Saturday.

Surely they would of been there if the distance made it possible…

I felt this was a very appropriate address by the president..The Police Chief seems to be top notch, a real person, very impressed with him.
