NewsBusters and several sites seem all agog at the funding and influence network backed by Soros, but aren't right leaning think tanks like AEI more or less the same thing? Seems to me that as long is there is funding transparency, people organizing together with like minded individuals to advocate policies is *by definition* democracy. Of course there is no universe in which it would happen but it would be nice to see Media Matters and NewsBusters actually work together to reconcile their rather disparate world views.
