If this report via several usually reliable newsmedia sources is in fact inaccurate, TMV apologizes and will correct this, this evening as soon as facts surrounding the situ can be verified a bit more.

‘The Daily News Egypt’ which bills itself as Egypt’s ‘only English newspaper” is actually where the link above leads in JTemplar’s comment.

The desire of these particular group of Muslims, though the proposal is extreme, reminds me of today’s Republican Party. If you’re different (gay, non-Christian, etc.) then you have no place and are seen to be a threat. The conservatives do not want anyone other than white, straight Christians in the USA. Let us not forget that it is the conservatives in America who claim that Obama is a Muslim… that Muslims are terrorists, that Muslims cannot build places of worship.

All people who commit hate crimes have this same mentality. Those who do not do anything to stop a hate crime or who do not defend those being attacked (verbally or physically) are just as complicit as those who actually commit a hate crime.

I know there are some good conservatives out there, but it’s beyond my comprehension why they are part of a party which devalue the humanness of other citizens.

The destruction of history of another culture is just a more serious attack on the hate group continuum.
