Still. it can&#039;t really overcome the problems caused by reliance on an  INTERPRETATION of religious texts.  When one interpretation does battle with another, the result is decided by what is, more or less, a popularity contest.

Though moderate Muslims should certainly be supported, their moderation will always be vulnerable unless they accept secular law as the final arbiter. Whether they do or not is really the demarcaition line for any society with large religious groups.</description>
