What we are now seeing is the disintegration of many of the new and old media conventional wisdom pillars about Obama, him and his campaign’s political skills, and how he’ll likely fare against Romney. And it has been a litany of bad news — for Obama and the Democrats.
These narratives usually go in stages. So will we see a new stage in coming months where the narrative is Obama on the ascent and Romney on the descent? You have to be blunt: if the Obama campaign continues as it has been going the past week, the GOP will win the White House and most likely at least one house of Congress.
A standard assumption was that Obama would win the debates, hands down. The link suggests otherwise.
