I watched and the following topics dominated the debate: terrorism/national security, gay marriage, abortion, tax cuts. the following were ignored: healthcare, increasing energy costs/ renewable energy investment, crumbling infrastructure, global warming, veterans' issues, congressional corruption. The GOP candidates, with the exception of Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee, played to the party's base. Yes, they still watch.
