A lot has happened lately: not only has Turkish Daily News published some columns by yours truly, a few days ago I was also asked by Pajamas Media whether I would like to write for them. Of course, I answered that I would be happy and proud to be part of such a fine and constantly growing organization. Today, PJM published my first article. It’s about the arrests in Germany earlier today. It seems that the three suspects had plans to hit Germany hard. Much harder than the London or even the Madrid bombings. The best comparison would probably be 9/11. In order to cause as much damage as possible, the three suspects were in the process of making chemical bombs. All in all, they had several hundreds of kilograms of explosive material.

Congratulations MvdG, your now being published in PJM right next to Victor Davd Hanson. On e little point of correction, a technical misstep. The Spiegel article states that the explosives would be EQUIVALENT to Tnt. The explosive the terror group were working with were the Hamas type “liquid explosives” used in the London bombings. The explosive is dry, the precursor components are the “liquid explosives”. Al-Qaeda and Hamas use the “liquid explosives” like the Oklahoma bombers used fertilizer and diesel fuel because that is what they can work with. Industrial TNT and military plastic explosives are tightly regulated and unavailable.
Once again – Congrats.
