Misandry Doesn’t Exist

I was really glad to know that.

(The video is a great example of Poe’s Law. I really can’t tell if it’s serious or not.)

When all the men are gone who is going to take out the garbage?

Way to go, Dean. Can someone please replace whatever definition of “strawman” is out there and replace it with this post?

It’s obviously a joke/smear. Not because of Poe’s Law (meaning not because it resembles so closely what people actually say), but because I have never ever, not on the most radfem of radfem sites, seen anyone claim that it would be good if all men were gone, nor that everything would then be peaceful and violence-free. Ever. Nothing in there is authentic, even for the radfems. And I’m going to go ahead and guess that I’ve read a helluva lot more crazy radfem blogs than you have.

I don’t know, Roro, she claims to be serious. But it sounds like most people who read her blog are pretty sure she must be having them on.

I’m not sure what it matters either way, or what Dean’s intention was in posting it. Did he mean it to be a commentary on feminists? Or all women? Or is he just marveling at the work itself, at the ambiguity the author has created around her sincerity and her sanity?

Just goes to show you can find just about anything – any point of view on the internet. Not sure what Dean’s fascination with misandry is. As far as societal problems go it has to be near the bottom of the list.

Well, Dr J, a small blog with a 21-person readership, yeah, I suppose she could actually be serious.

Considering Dean’s posts as of late — the ones saying that men have it so much worse than women, that misandry is giving him the sadface, that feminists are to blame for everything in the world — I’m sorry I don’t harbor many good feelings toward his intentions in seeking out the one single feminist-identifying woman who actually thinks all men need to die (and that God is going to make this happen!) in order for women to find equality.
