I’m beginning to feel very sorry for the guy.

I don’t think the issue of behavior in public restrooms should be dismissed lightly. Mothers of young sons, not being able to accompany their boys, are right to be concerned about the atmosphere behind the doors. No one, for that matter, should be forced to witness what to them is unsavory. What’s fine in private is not necessarily fine in public

So, Craig used very bad judgment.
The punishment should fit the crime, though.
This isn;t the same as making deals with organized crime, hiring hit men to knock off political opponents, or stealing the company payroll.

In particular, I feel sorry for his family, who have to read and hear the villification.

I guiltily admit, though, that some of the joles are exquisitely funny! I have my own double standard issues!

The standup comedy coming from the Craig incident is some of the funniest political comedy in a very long time. Question is will American’s remember come voting time – and realize that any party claiming moral superiority is just funny. Maybe there’s a chance that the coming presidential campagn will focus on issues that will actually impact the average american citizen instead of the personal lives of politicians. The last time I checked, what politicians did in bathrooms had absolutely no impact on me personally. Well, I guess it might if you were the next guy to use the stall !

Poor Jon and Steven, missing out on all the fun! I bet that their contracts have special crisis clauses though, if someone catches Condi in leather walking on someone with spiked heels, I bet they get there vacations cancelled.
