How to Lose Independent Voters
Mr.Reince Priebus of the RNC: there are many ways to lose your credibility with independent voters when you open your mouth in the future and this is one of them. It is beyond transparent, patently false partisan, CYA spin.
(So Sean Hannity is a mole? Wait: Rush Limbaugh has the answer: it was all the Clinton’s doing.)

While Priebus definitely tries to shift the focus to his own talking points, I don’t think the claim that he blames Obama for the ad itself is accurate.
DaGoat – Well, he more or less claims that Obama WANTS this shift in focus. I think he’s blaming without really blaming.
It’s basically “plausible deniability.” It’s CLEAR what he’s saying. I was a journalist for many years and source particularly political ones try to put a little cacoon about what they’re saying. SEveral news sites interpreted the same way as I did here. We could be wrong..but I truly doubt it. Also, it fits in with what the real strategist of the GOP has said (Rush).

As far as Hannity and Limbaugh go, it’s pretty clear the Romney campaign wants the Wright issue to go away and differs from the far-right media in that regard.
I will defer to JG, however, when I first read the quote (at the initial link, not the video part but the text part) I thought that he was suggesting:
Hey, this would not even be in the news except that Obama’s team found out and want to distract the voters from the real issues.
