People Who Blog DO Have Lives and Emergency Needs

They write all of these posts that you write for free (very few blogs make money and even ads you see on blogs aren’t enough for most bloggers to give up even a week of work).

One of our co-bloggers, who has posted a lot of stuff on TMV generating a lot of discussion, recently got engaged and faces a crisis. And YOU CAN DEFINITELY HELP and it doesn’t take much (because small bits of help can add up to a lot of help).

Very few people actually make an income off of blogging (yours truly doesn’t) although that may one day be the case. But there are instances where readers can help someone who is blogging. And this is one of them. Forget whether you agree with someone’s ideas or not. Bloggers take time to write on blogs and to do so they have to cut some other things out of their lives. Why?
To communicate to and with readers. So consider this a “tip,” or delayed “payment,” or just a chance to help a friend who you often talk (or argue) with.
