New Obama Anti-Romney Ad Is All Newt Gingrich

May 2, 2012 by

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is poised to (belatedly…frustratingly for many Republicans) endorse presumptive Republican nominee Mitte Romney so his words will be in the news.

In more ways than one.

The Obama campaign has put out a web ad (which I’m sure will be recycled as a TV ad in the post-conventions general election campaign later in the year) comprised almost entirely of Gingrich’s many tough assertions made against Romney:

Of course, the Romney campaign can counter by doing an ad with some of the comments of Bill and Hillary Clinton, but those would go back so far now and would be comments about how Obama wasn’t ready for his 3 a.m. call. But Obama has been in office now so those comments wouldn’t have the same impact as Gingrich’s — who is (in)famous for his over the top political rhetoric. At the height of his ill-fated battle with Romney Gingrich came under fire from GOPers who warned that he was giving the Dems sound bites that could just be edited together in an ad.

Well, here it is…

Look for snippets of Gingrich’s comments to be used by the Dems in ads to come.

I love it! And the quotes are not taken out of context. I especially like the last question and answer… “Are you calling Mitt Romney a liar?” “Yes.” Plain and simple and sums it up.

…and Newt didn’t even get paid by the DNC to make the comments! That is so awesome!

Rcoutme, LOL! So true. I love it when Republicans do DNC’s work. Maybe Obama should just sit back and say that any quotes about Romney should only come from Republicans. There is a wealth of material out there and it would make for a devilish campaign.

The bottom line of all this is that the Republican electorate now gets to decide who is a liar, Gingrich or Romney…

Chanel and Elsa were equally excited to soak some rays while meeting with some of their biggest fans who lined up for hours to get a spot by the pool. The decorations were full of neon hot pink, light purple, ocean blue, lime and hot orange decorations including inner tubes, towels and Chanel Sunglasses for guests to take home.
