Oh c’mon now. I’m as disgusteed with Rove as much as the next non-neocon but he’s hardly trying to rewrite history. I’m sure Rove THINKS he wasn’t just playing the base even if that is exactly what he was doing. No one thinks of themselves as the badguy no matter how rotten they are.
