Mr Rove’s legacy, the so-called “Rove Strategy,” was his focus on mobilizing the base(s) of the Republican party. While Rove was quite effective at this, it is hardly an original strategy. Every time I teach “Introduction to American Politics” my students read Vic Gresham’s “Why Didn’t Conservatives Turnout?” (Campaigns & Elections, Feb, 1999).
That's hilarious, Somebody. Sorry, but your guy is still the master of the tactic and what Reid or Murtha or anyone else on the other side is doing doesn't match Rove/Bush. But maybe if you repeat the Big Lie often enough someone outside your own hyper-conservative circle will believe it.

Accused of the politics of division and yet.

Someone explain to me what Murtha, Reid, Dean have been doing in the last several years.

Dividing the country on Iraq. Calling anyone who believes we should stay IN Iraq.......delusional etc.

While Rove may have started it the democrats embraced it and have used it just as effectively as Rove ever could have.

Open you eyes. No one has the patent on the politics of division.
