Sleazing Out More Money
A GOP fundraising letter “audits” its recipients and says that there are “irregularities” in their record which can be solved by a donation. Misleading, probably not illegal, but certainly quite underhanded (especially when they send the letters out to octogenarians).

“There is no controlling legal authority that says this was in violation of law.”
It violates the law of fair play and common decency.
