    “The lefty blogosphere is all “abuzz” over the fact that Mitt Romney supports “The Surge” in Iraq, while his five sons, all of military age, are supporting their country (according to Mitt) by trying to get “Dear Ole’ Dad” surged into the Oval Office as opposed to heading to bootcamp…”

    No! Actually, the lefty blogosphere is all “abuzz” over the fact that Mitt Romney cavalierly compares his son’s campaign engagement with the lifthreatening job of US soldiers.

    I really can’t understand how someone can get the clear and obvious points of the left so wrong so many times. Does the GTL have some kind of reading handicap???

    Gray – Did you read GTL’s full post? Therein, he acknowledges the hypocrisy/stupidity of Romney’s statement, but labels it all irrelevant because he doesn’t believe there’s a shot-in-hell of Romney getting the nom, much less the White House, with or without this latest gaffe.

    Pete, pls note that my comment was directed at GTL’s misleading statement on the main point of left wing criticism. Yup, i read his piece, I even added this comment above at his side, but I don’t really want now to comment on all he wrote. What would be the point? There’s more interesting discussions here.
