People Are Good; Caine’s Arcade
Sweeping the Internets, if you’ve yet to see it (or even if you have) it’s well worth watching (again). Caine’s Arcade, the story of a 9 year old boy in East LA who built an arcade out of cardboard in his dad’s auto parts shop…
The icing on the cake, a scholarship fund the filmmaker set up for Caine’s college education. The video was posted Monday; it’s raised more than $90,00 so far.

Thanks for posting this. Loved it.
What a cute kid! And like all inventors, he did it not to make money, but to satisfy his creative urges. I hope he will not be exploited, but he seems to have a sensible head on his shoulders – and a sensible dad.
Good luck, Caine!
Great story. The filmmaker is a hero for going the extra mile. I hope it leads to good things for him.
