It doesn't matter as long as it's funny, different from expectations, and may help getting people into talking about Dodd. He desperately needs much more buzz, because with his lousy 3% he won't even make it to the primaries. I don't see how showing some humor could hurt Dodd, so the only way he can go is up. In his position, he simply has to make bolder moves than the other candidates to stay in the game. I rate it like Lynx, makes a point in a "kinda" clever way, but likely lost on the young Dem demographic......experience will play more importantly come the general election.....mark me down for that bet. So, clearly not so dumb as to criticize him the way the author does. What has the guy left to lose?.........Dems are not responding to a guy that has just kept his nose to the grindstone for 20 some years, ala Richardson and Biden as well. Obviously, Dodd has to attempt something to break him out of the 2-3% category.
