He ran for an office as himself- an elitist frat boy from Connecticut who had failed at some business ventures in the 80's, and lost badly. He'll have to overcome organizational difficulties, the woes of having policies that resemble Bush's too closely, and getting a very slow and late start. He also has a history as a highly paid lobbyist and trial lawyer, which don't help the red pickup outsider image. The worst thing is that you have to wonder how many of those who support Fred are really thinking of Arthur Branch, instead of the real thing?
