I like Gravel, but he reminded me a bit of Perot's running mate in '92. Edwards won this debate rather easily. He has the most command of the facts and the most deeply thought out ideas. Obama was a distant second. Hillary, Biden, and Dodd showed they're hacks, and poor Richardson- how the hell did he ever get elected- he cannot tailor a message well. Gravel's comments couldn't have been very comforting to Senator Joe Biden, who has been one of the biggest apologists on the Democratic side for this failed government program.
