Any prohibition on using candidates' names before elections is a direct violation of the First Amendment. Note that McCain and his gang argued that ads should be prohibited if they "took a critical stance regarding a candidate's position on an issue" (if, for example, they criticize an incumbent like McCain), and naturally McCain is disappointed at the ruling. <strong>He is anti-American and is unfit for public office.</strong> McCain-Feingold deserved to be hit, and hit hard.
