They could nail him to the wall and make an example of him, "This is what we do to those of us who take bribes." and really set themselves apart from the GOP. Yanno, like they did with Jefferson... But instead of grabbing that laurel they will sweep it under the rug and keep the status quo just like the GOP. Both parties need to start policing themselves better. Someone like Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity will pick it up and over play it. That will poison it for the rest of the media and thus it will be ignored. As Rep.
