Carp, “de facto” Fairness Doctrine is what I am being told. But, I imagine if you’re willing to indemnify NBC, maybe he’ll take you up on it.

My snarc was directed at Kevin, not you. Apologies for the ambiguous sentence.

Kevin take shots at Thompson and then sheds crocodile tears that he isn’t full candidate mode.

If Thompson is indeed the lackadaisical character that many are portraying him to be, he won’t be taking up space very long.

But, how many political strategists would complain if their “candidate” client just did a paying gig or two per week, while yet still on big media payroll, yet still managed to climb in the polls. I think THEY would say, “Hey, what’s the rush?”

It may be just a balloon, but that balloon is still rising for the moment.

lol i’m not saying i agree with Kevin’s post am I? Just an interesting read…

One thing though; he has reportedly signaled that he’s not willing to campaign as hard as some others do.

For being intellectuals, bloggers sometimes don’t grasp the obvious…….

Thompson is still under unexpired media contracts.

A “declared candidacy” would, at best, open up a can of worms vis-a-vis Fairness Doctrine.

Relax, pseudo-FDT supporters, the timing of things has actually been thought through.
