Our sitemanager informed me that he improved the comment options: he has added comment preview and quick HTML tag buttons to comments. There is a new area on TMV called Commenting Features. The Commenting Features page explains the features and why they should be utilized. These features will stop comments from changing the site’s look if someone adds a weird HTML code to their comment.
Please look at the “Areas of Interest” section, and read the “Commenting Features” page.
Thanks for the improvements to comments!!!!
Can we intentionally screw up the look of site on this thread? like this…
Michael,
Why aren’t we allowed to edit our own comments like on other WordPress blogs?
And btw, my liberal claptrap is now back online at whyweworry.com
HMMM! Actually I haven’t thought about that feature Chris. Let me do a little research, talk to Joe about it, and do a little testing. Thanks for the request.

It’s very handy indeed. Looks great.
Strike, link, bold, italics, blockquote, etc. Everything in it, very good.
Chris – good to hear that – will edit blogroll.
Editing your own comments: I agree that this would be very handy. However, I have a wordpress blog as well, and I don’t believe my readers can edit their own comments. Not sure though.
Yeah… I thought it was part of WordPress… but now I’m not so sure
I’m gonna be switching my blog over to Drupal when I get some free time, and that definitely lets people edit their own comments.
Drupal?
Drupal is a robust CMS in the vein of Joomla/Mambo. But unlike Joomla it’s logically organized and well documented.
It’s also a lot more powerful than WordPress and other similar packages because it’s designed to handle more than blogging.

Yep… TMV adding Preview right when Firefox added Spell Check to it’s browser… Life is good. Thanks!
Add Grammar Check and I will never again have to use Word for writing comments. : ]
