Who cares about the house. The Democrats are going to remain in control and the strict seniority system means that the same people will be in charge in the house in 2009 as are in charge today.

The most important result in 2008 will be how many seats the Democrats will pick up in the Senate. If the Democrats can get to 58 seats, they can proably flip someone like Specter, Collins, or Snowe and get to 60 seats and make the Republicans irrelevent to politics on the national level.
