  1. Chris says:

He was convicted of two counts of perjury and one count of obstruction of justice in what appeared to be a fair trial.

    So, no.

  2. casualobserver says:

    Chris,

You’re uncharacteristicly mild-mannered today. There was an opening a mile wide and darn it if you weren’t downright impassionately rationale.

I won’t take the bait either…….(Sh)”W”ould he be pardoned?

I’m going to guess not until December, 2008.

  3. kimrit says:

I think he should serve at least some jail time, otherwise the next time we have an administration scandal the participants will have no problem lying to the FBI and obstructing. That scummy ex-boss of his should come forward.

  4. Pyst says:

No, he should serve the full term of his sentence, and infact should have gotten the maximum time not this weak sentence.

He’s done much worse to the public than someone that gets caught with marijuana, which of course would have gotten more time.

  5. kimrit says:

He doesn’t have much chance on appeal, and I think the judge told him he couldn’t stay out pending the appeal, so his only chance is a pardon from W.

  6. DLS says:

He’ll probably get that pardon. At this point I wonder if he’ll join everyone else marketing their time in DC — and “write” a book.

  7. bookworm says:

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I know, don’t hold back on how I really feel. BTW curious that Trick Dick Cheney didn’t write a defense letter.
