Post your comments on the Democratic Presidential Candidates’ Debate.
I don’t pay for CNN, MSNBC or Fox News so I can’t watch these debates on TV. I have managed to set up Internet viewing via CNN Pipeline Web Player. If I were unable to have broadband Internet, I wouldn’t have access to the debates.
In order to provide adequate information to the voting poor, let’s move the debates back to CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox broadcast channels.
Here are notes from CNN Political Ticker.

I’m glad to see that nobody likes DADT anymore!
Does it look to anyone else as if the major candidates are in the middle of the line while the minor candidates are on the edges?
BTW I don’t care if Kucinich drops his pen or somebody thinks Sen. Clinton is dressed like a bee.
Enough already with the haircuts!
Sen. Biden seems way, way off on his time estimate on Iran’s weapons. I wish he were right but am sure he is wrong.
Dennis, I am willing to kill OBL with my own hands. Peace requires justice.
Darfur flabbergasts all of the candidates.
Debate’s over. I’d say that ALL of the candidates had some good moments.
Wow! Are we actually having a real debate?! Five minutes into the debate, and the candidates are actually criticizing on another and drawing key distinctions between one another. Edwards goes after Cliton and Obama for not being more outspoken against the war. In rerponse, Obama makes that point that he (unlike Edwards) actually opposed the war in the first place.
Kucinich then criticizes the Democratic Leadership for continuing to bring up bills to fund the war rather than bringing up a bill the DEAUTHORIZE the war. Seemingly angered by Kucinich’s response, Joe Biden (the only Democrat onstage who voted to continue funding the war) argued that the Democrats couldn’t just stop funding the war while troops are still in Iraq.
Holly,
Remember when you called Gravel immoral for absolutely no reason? Isn’t it funny that he called most of the other candidates immoral for voting for the Iraq war?
If I called Gravel immoral, I had a good reason.
I would have voted for the Iraq war and would not be sorry.
If Gravel had been in Congress, he might have voted for the Iraq War. I don’t give his position on it that much credibility, since he’s criticizing the others for a decision he never had to make.
