It’s good fun arguing with you guys, even if we go overboard now and then. I’m grateful we have lives that are comfortable enough that we can spend our time discussing issues like this.

And, seriously – I am of course not pissed at all. I am making a bit fun of the entire situation. My reaction was, I must say, honest – I was angry in that thread. I would like to say this – if you have a problem with my attitude, e-mail me and I will explain it more at length. For now, I would like to say that, on second thought, I should have worded it different.

I thought the accusations of ‘anti-Semite’ you smeared many of the TMV regulars with on Friday was inexcusable… Unless you’d been out drinking and were PWD (Posting While Drunk).

Since you seem to be starting up again where you left off I’m left to think that drink isn’t the reason for this change in your ‘style’.

Until this brouhaha I’d always read and appreciated your opinions / positions even when I don’t agree with them. But that was then and this is now. Now I have to reevaluate just how serious to take you, and how much of a prime-contributor you really are. Don’t you know that mean-spiritedness and hatefulness never wins and that never get anyone anywhere.

I like a lot of your opinions and ideas but as soon as the subject turns to anything ‘Jewish’ I have to switch you off.

It’s ‘human’ to be able to easily see closed-mindedness in others and miss it in ourselves but can’t you see that closed-minded, in-your-face positions ON ANY TOPIC are are not the way to get others open up and try to see things from your point of view? Just askin’.
