I wonder how much the money is buying good numbers in the polls that aren’t there at all in actuality. I don’t personally know any Democrats that like, or are planning to vote for HC, yet she seems to do so well in the polls. I think it’s mostly media hype that turns into actual poll numbers later on, rather than letting the people decide, and the numbers are from the people themselves.

A reason I think media along with big business has taken over democracy, and cut we the people out.

But there are a whole host of voters who have come of age since then, who don’t really remember the ’90′s. I think the GOP sees her as their biggest threat, just as they see Thompson (Fred not Tommy) as their biggest hope. They want her to be perceived as a nagging fishwife.

At this point, I would say next to nothing is being added to what was done in the early 1990s.

Now if she were an actress in Hollywood, or a pop music star who also engaged in “social consciousness” activities, maybe more people who would ordinarily vote for her, would vote for her.

I wonder how much of Hillary’s image is being manufactured by the am radio folks. If you ever listen to any of them – they describe her as “shrill, strident, shrieking, nagging” all of the negative connotations one associates with a fishwife.

If her image is artificial, is it any more so than Mitt’s who travels with an 18 person entourage to make sure that his appearances in the media or in front of a crowd are perfect? Or what of Fred Thompson, who most folks have confused with the character he plays on TV- do we know who he really is?
