DLS Says:

We need a points system or otherwise an individual evaluation for legal admission in place of Sixties-fluff “family reunification.”

DLS – Your flippant remark equating family reunification to “Sixties-Fluff” speaks volumes. It says a lot about you, your basic values, and your opinion of “the family unit” in general… Your comment makes me glad that I’m a product of the ‘60s.

If both sides of the aisle acknowledge “you listen to the generals” for purposes of executing a war, why though should it be so incomprehensible to listen to the border agents on improving controls over immigration?……..fences are most useful only in urban zones, otherwise, one agent for every 5 miles. Given here is one issue that “throwing a little more money at it” seems like it really would be an effective solution, why not do the border security first?

Why legislators don’t understand the notion of “re-establish credibility first” would go such a long way with voters, I don’t know.
