St. Louis city is hard-core history-of-government-corruption Cyanide Nation — antithetical to the USA.

    Same for East St. Louis.

Bush is the “worst president in history,” predictably, in places like this:

I’m sorry – I don’t live in St Louis, but I still think he’s the worst in history- at least the last 100 years. Who was worse? Even Carter didn’t destabilize the Middle East with a war that we can’t win but that we can’t leave either. Also none of the agencies function under his Cabinet.

DLS… Bush is the “worst president in history” in Walnut Creek, CA, too.

I’m always amazed at the lengths that ‘dyed-in-the-wool’ Bushies go to defend their hero. But when someone feels the need to attack an entire city I think they should win some sort of prize.

Amen- to that. At first, they praised him as the second coming of Reagan, now they’re reduced to the weakest of all defenses- “he’s only the worst in corrupt Democratic strongholds.” But localities all over the country are impeaching him- unofficially of course- but its still on the record.

    Heeeeeeeeeeere they come!!!

Probably many also are that way in Lafayette, Orinda, and Moraga. (For those who don’t know: $$$)

So am I, as I’m not one of them.

Your mischaracterization is worse than my cheap shot at STL.

  6. kritter says:

DLS- If you’re not, you do an outstanding imitation of one of them. You defend da Prez no matter what, at least on here.

BTW, I may not live in STL, but my family on my father’s side is from there and they’re not a buncha librul nutcases.

  7. DLS says:

    > You defend da Prez no matter what

Demonstrably false. I have been critical of him on this site before. What I did here was attack the STL cartoon because it and other cartoons at the Dispatch[ed] are classic Cyanide Nation sickness.

Not out there like the People’s Republic of Vermont, though there have been flirtations at that low level. In the STL County neighborhood where I lived, there was plenty of liberalism and I accepted that as the price of being there. There are nice homes, and “INSTEAD OF WAR, INVEST IN PEOPLE” signs (as well as extremist stuff at my favorite restaurant such as you-know-who being “WANTED FOR WAR CRIMES,” etc.)

DLS. Appologies if I mischaracterized your position.

I based my observation on the old, “If it looks like a duck…” adage and, no offence, you really do ‘look like a duck’ when it comes to your support, or should I say ‘apparent support’, of George Bush.

  9. kritter says:

DLS- My apologies as well. Of course it does seem like you defend him 95% of the time, which is a little odd if you are not a supporter.

  10. kritter says:

DLS- My abject apologies, as well. Its just that you support the administration’s position about 99% of the time here, so I got confused, LOL.

  11. DLS says:

I’ll defend him against the cheap shots, still. But you should also recall I’ve been critical of him, called him inept, etc.

    QUACK
