The Royal Dutch Soccer Association (KNVB) has decided that the national Dutch team will not play any matches against Morocco for the coming five years. The reason: yesterday, the Young Dutch team played against Young Morocco. After the match, which was won by Morocco, Moroccan-Dutchmen ran onto the field and destroyed everything (and everyone) they could (as shown on the image above).
All of this gave Dutch politician Geert Wilders a novel idea: young Moroccan-Dutchmen should, for a period of five years, not be allowed to attend matches in which one of the teams is Moroccan (not as fans that is). He also refers to them as “streetterrorists.”

Eeek! Racism, xenophobia! How DARE he suggest that young Morrocan-Dutchmen are liable to be violent…the facts be damned, facts must not stand in the way of diversity celebration!
The sad part of it is, you will be vilified for saying things that are obvious to everyone (though they dare not say it) and it shall happen from within your own ranks, by members amongst your own people who derive glee from their “holier than thou” attitude.
Street terrorists huh? In Spain we have a name for that. The name, not incidentally, is in Basque; Kalle Borroka (street fight). It has come to be synonymous with street terrorism, usually with a separatist tint.
A violent melee at a soccer game?
Well, that’s certainly a shocker.
Is it “British”?
That’s like a soccer game in Los Angeles where the residents boo the US national anthem, wave the Mexican flag, and shower the US team with insults and debris.
