Ah yes, Newt Gingrich, the “intellectual” of the right. Too bad we couldn’t get him in the white house, then some real work could get done – starting by doing away with those pesky child labor laws.

He’s also trying to schill for privatized social security again. Good lord. If only people would manage their money smartly from the age of 20 on everything would be handled by the private sector!! No one would retire in poverty and the big bad evil govt wouldn’t be needed to steal our hard earned dollars so they could mismanage it.
Oh wait, we used to have that exact system before the New Deal, and half of Americans died in poverty. Guess that’s why we instituted it in the first place. How could so educated a man have missed that?
