Speculation is growing that the Supercommittee will fail. Heres today’s discussion from’ This Week:

I never thought it would succeed anyway. Republicans simply will not budge away from balancing the budget on the backs of the poor and elderly or lowering the workers wages.
predictions:
1. committee fails and misses deadline
2. “base” that rallies up more anst and dirt wins
3. all will lose
The only lasting influence will be participation. People will participate more, then grow disillusioned. Then no one will care and things will get out of hand.
