Teachers stage fake gunman attack on sixth-graders

Any teacher or other educator that thinks that that was a “learning experience” should be fired, and very possibly should go to prison.

The Asst. Principal and two or more teachers, in concert, thought this would be a cool prank. Ha ha ha.

Lynx’s BS detector has me not buying the “prank” explanation, unless maybe these teachers had been pranked themselves and were getting even. That’s the best I can come up with, and it’s pretty bad.

Kids themselves might do a prank like this, but adults.

Something’s being covered up.

OK, I usually have my BS radar in high gear whenever I hear of possible lawsuits for “emotional anguish” but quite frankly, if the parents do sue, I can’t hold it against them. A prank? What a cruel thing to do to elementary school children. We’re talking under 11 years old here! What the f— were they thinking? These kids probably watch the news with their parents, VT wasn’t very long ago and children will believe the words of adults. Hell, if grownups tell other grownups to get down, there’s a shooter, you believe it. The obvious thought is “no one would joke about something that serious”.

They’re either heartless or incompetent or both. Either way, they shouldn’t be allowed to teach.

That’s sick man. They could have told the parents, This “mock terrorism” is a form of terrorism in and of itself. Poor kids are gonna need therapy.
