Mine is this: Since the US is largely Christian, is it Christianity that made them into supporters of democracy? Since France fought a long bloody war between Catholics and Protestants, is it Catholicism or Protestantism that made them turn to democracy? What role do the various religions of India play into making that country what it is? People fight for power, and they use whatever ideology is available to name the fight and to recruit for it. You can SAY that Islam is peaceful, you can SAY that the vast majority are moderates, but quite frankly, the phenomenon of "honor" killings, never mind just plain old beatings and oppression is far FAR too common in the Muslim world to be mere coincidence. To put it bluntly, they are backwards. Christianity was backwards in the Middle Ages (by comparison the Islamic world at that time was very enlightened) but has advanced considerably. Islam hasn't made it nearly that far, which makes the Islamic culture WORSE than western culture. We should NOT be ashamed to say this. Especially those countries who receive large numbers of Muslim immigrants (much to our dismay) must be willing to assert the superiority, yes SUPERIORITY, of our values and demand that they adapt to them.
