Is it just me or are the GOP candidates trying desperately to fit into the same cookie cutter mold set up for them by religious conservatives? That and trying too hard to imitate Ronald Reagan keep most of them from seeming very authentic. McCain seemed really stiff in the debate the other night, as he shifted to the right as hard as he could. I guess ex-Maverick McCain can’t afford to piss off Jerry Falwell.
