I Thought I Was The One Who Hated America

I always thought ol’ liberal me was the traitor to America. Lord knows I’ve been called it enough by my friends on the right. But I have to say, it’s not my side’s “respectable” columnists who are musing on whether what America really needs is a military coup.

I just get so confused sometimes.

It sounds like a bad joke.
    Is he serious?

He’s not the only one to express that opinion. (No, I’m not one of the crowd. But I did have fun at childish lefties’ expense elsewhere on this subject by adding that we ought to have universal conscription, too.) And the main point he is making (ignored by the playpen lefties) is he is complaining about the degeneracy he sees (which is a fact).

Don’t overreact the way the playpen lefties have already overreacted about this. (You don’t appear to be doing this.)

This would have really made waves had he said it in 1995-6.
