Comment Registration Is Again Required

If you tried to comment on TMV you probably have seen that we are back to comment registration and will stay with it permanently. The reason is an increase in either over the line or close to over the line comments. While we try to encourage vigorous debate, this will allow us to ensure that if someone has been banned they stay banned and can’t return to comment on the site. We have banned few people from comments but numerous complaints from readers and co-bloggers recently have led us to reinstitute comment registration. All people leaving comments should read our commenting guidelines underneath the comments box.
