We have long been over bloated in value in my opinion." You are correct, however, there's a problem if the correction comes too fast. This would reduce confidence in the dollar causing it to fall below value and all of your foreign debts would suddenly increase and you wouldn't be able to afford the imports your economy relies on. “Devaluing the dollar is very helpful really. You are correct, however, there’s a problem if the correction comes too fast. This would reduce confidence in the dollar causing it to fall below value and all of your foreign debts would suddenly increase and you wouldn’t be able to afford the imports your economy relies on.
