I’ve seen this story all over the place today. I’m still trying to figure out who she is and why I should care. Is she the daughter of someone rich and famous?

A beautiful young woman falsely accused of murder, and, “Rape”, if you can believe that.
Who knows whether justice was done or not? She certainly does, but the rest can only hope.
Seriously, who is this person and why does it matter? It didn’t seem to affect our relations with Italy. I figured from the acquittal that the charges were not substantiated, but is the coverage purely because she’s some pretty young thing accused in some scandal? Is this just another celebrity attraction thing? I really fail to see what the story is here.
Why does it matter whether or not it matters to you?
She was accused of murdering a friend during a drug and sex induced frenzy…if anything, it is great tv.
Who knows if she did it?
I do know that her acquittal was more based on police incompetence than anything. I give Italy props for acknowledging the problems with the investigation…some countries would rather not risk the embarrassment.

She was obviously not guilty.
She was not involved in any crazy sick sex.
The real murderer was caught and convicted years ago.
She was convicted on Italian anti-American emotion rather than evidence, held since 2009 and released yesterday on appeal.
The Italians even lie on their weather reports how can anyone expect them to have an impartial judicial system? Corruption is their culture.

that is not the general opinion in Europe.
Well that is my belief and thank God this beautiful young lady is now free.
