Stalling, obfuscating, spinning didn't work for them in '06 and it won't in '08 either. Especially with the gift that keeps on giving at Bush's right hand in the W.H., an unpopular war that keeps getting worse, and more Abramoff-related resignations revealed every day. The GOP will see what its like to be the party of personal responsibility on Election Day when accountability finally is no longer unavoidable. Which is probably why this investigation will either end as a whitewash or is just being used so that the administration can avoid questions by saying that there is an investigation in progress. I'm inclined to believe the later and that this investigation is a stall tactic.
