Warning to Chris Christie

A warning to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie: as you continue to do what increasingly seems to be a Republican Mario Cuomo imitation, if you are serious about cannonballing into the 2012 Republican Presidential nomination candidate pool be fowarned: the Republican Party’s kingmaker real strategist favorite talk show host Rush Limbuagh has started to voice some reservations about you and suggests you’re sounding a bit John McCain-ish (referring to the 2000 version of John McCain, not the harder right version that ran for President in 2008).

This means you have to go on Rush’s show, re-arrange your views, or suffer the fate of other GOPers that seriously disagreed with Limbaugh, or at least did not pay proper homage to him. For the 2012 Republican Presidential nomination, only dittoheads need apply.

    Rush is famous for not being challenged. There’s a very real possibility that he could be a paper tiger.

    I know a couple of people that worked with Rush when he was in Kansas City. The man had a raging ego and was a complete ahole. Maybe he has changed since his KC days, maybe he has gotten worse?

    and CC has no chance.

    I’m officially predicting Mitt as the Rep nominee. :)

    Well, for a “paper tiger” there’s a heck of a history of republican politicians who go crawling to him for forgiveness when they bother to think for themselves.

  4. ProfElwood says:

    @JSpencer
    That’s my point: none of them have ever persistently stood up to him. He’s never really won a challenge because he’s never had to fight one.
