Both Pakistan and Bangladesh never had a real democracy! Moreover, those countries never encouraged diversity and never believed in secular model. For all the frustrations and disappointments, India has managed to maintain its ‘secular’ flavor and kept military out of the ruling class. It’s just a matter of time before Musharraf is removed leaving room for another military joker or a crazy Islamic leader! Scary thought when you consider the nuclear capability they have!
