Your views are well outside the mainstream of even those who strongly support gun control. You would turn this country into a police state in order to achieve your utopian world without guns. The problem is, you’re utopian world will never come to pass.

It is still the Constitutional right of every American to…

The thing is, it IS still a Constitutional right, and that fact that some deranged pyschopath abused this right doesn’t mean we ought to ignore the Constitution.

Also, the NRA bashing gets old after a while. The NRA is hardly the only lobbying group the wields power in Washington. The same people who demonize the NRA are the one who tend to praise the ACLU and vice versa.

We can complain all we want about the control that lobbying groups exert on Congress, but if Congress didn’t have the power to intervene in so many aspects of our lives, there would be no incentives for these lobbying groups in the first place.

Baltimore Maryland has a felony conviction rate of less than 33%. Do you really think that banning guns will stop the flow of guns in Baltimore.

Did prohibition for liquor work? Has banning narcotics worked? Yet, people talk rationally about taking away guns from gang bangers, MS-13 and drug runners.
