> But if he isn’t being
> patronizing, why does
> he sound like he is?

Ineptitude? Far behind the times? (Civil Rights and civil equality was the Left's last big victory, a century after Appomattox.)

> McCain’s record isn’t very
> Republican, either.

For me, it's not partisanship, but politics or even ideology. McCain doesn't hesitate to be liberal to pose as the "anti-Republican" and who in the hell likes him other than liberals?
Mr. Keating Five -- *gag*

> That won’t make me desperate
> enough to consider deciding
> between Left-of-Kennedy Barak
> Hussein O’Bomber or Hilarity
> (her health care plan was a sick
> joke) Clinton.

Nor me (Democrats remain toxic waste), but I believe many will jump the fence, as they did in 1992. OK, then, Perot was a legitimate protest vote, and Perot hurt, too. It ended up 43-38-19 per cent in 1992. At the time, Clinton was so weak that up to the actual election, Dems were ready to rush to Mario Cuomo (*gag*) if Cuomo chose to seek the Presidency after all. 2006 and the current Bush scandals are pointing to that. "Like father, like son." (I've said before, what does that do to poor Jeb's prospects in the future?)

It'll depend not only on who the Presidential candidate is but also on who the VP is on both sides.

Hillary's fascistic health plan (which her fellow lefties were too cowardly to call fascistic, even those also on the far Left who were outraged that the private sector had any nominal or functional role in the plan) will probably be replaced this time by "Medicare for All." (Don't know if the unconstitutional failure to pay for lost profits upon takeover will be attempted, as would be in the Conyers plan.)

He sure sounds patronizing.

That's no way to win support. If he feels superior, he's got to learn to conceal it. What kind of politician is he, anyway? He certainly wouldn't make a good Democrat, and I'm embarrassed that he calls himself a Republican.

But if he isn't being patronizing, why does he sound like he is? Maybe he's just very self-conscious about whatever stereotypes he wants them to think he doesn't have?

Either way, he doesn't inspire confidence or trust.

I wonder what he would say to Muslims? Hmmm, no, better not go there.

Anyway, he has to at least sound normal if he wants to be taken seriously, and he doesn't (sound normal). So, right out of the chute, I would put this horse in last place. Well, maybe not last. McCain's record isn't very Republican, either.

But don't worry. That won't make me desperate enough to consider deciding between Left-of-Kennedy Barak Hussein O'Bomber or Hilarity (her health care plan was a sick joke) Clinton.

> It’s not exactly the stellar parade.

In a word, no.

In two, "President Clinton."

>Hillary (and I’ll now say Obama) must be already delighted at the GOP gaffes.

Hillary needs them - she needs all the help she can get.

>What’s next from GOP candidates?

But yeah - beats the heck out of me. It's not exactly the stellar parade.

> > Too bad we already had the
> > “learning challenged President.

> Which beat a “smart Democrat

Not only in the election, but in the debates(!!!).

Next time, the smart Democrat should make smarter decisions instead of Choosing to Lose.

Certainly could have worded that better couldn't he. Several of my Jewish friends are very astute businessmen, and while some attribute the basis to their Jewish ancestry. I know of none who would have thought that to be a stellar comment.

Which beat a "smart Democrat" Really - come up with a better slogan - one that doesn't slam down your own party in the process.

More closet racism from the right. Is it impossible for the GOP to dig up a true representative of their values without that particular trait?
